What is a lash lift + tint?

A lash lift + tint is essentially a modern perm for your natural lashes. Your natural lashes are lifted and adhered to a small thin silicon rod that is adhered to your lid using a non toxic water based adhesive. The rods can vary in size and your lash artist will select the appropriate size for your lashes after a quick consultation. After lashes are lifted onto the rod 2 solutions are used to perform the lift. Lashes are then removed from the rod and tinted to enhance the effect of the lift making your natural lashes appear fuller and longer.

How are lash extensions applied and are they safe for my natural lashes?

Lash extensions are applied in 2 ways: Classic meaning a 1:1 lash ratio (1 lash extension per 1 natural lash) or; Volume meaning 2 or more:1 lash ratio (2+ lash extensions in a handmade fan per 1 natural lash.) Each individual lash extension or fan is placed carefully on 1 isolated natural lash keeping your lashes intact and able to continue to grow at their natural pace safely without damage. Applied correctly, lash extensions can be safe and will not damage your natural lashes.

How long will my lashes last?

Lash extension services: will need to rebook fills every 2-3 weeks. Any appointments longer than 4 weeks and or missing more than 50% of lash extensions will be charged as a full set.

Lash lift + tint: will need to rebook a re-lift + tint between 6-8 weeks.

Can I wet my lashes?

Lash extension: Yes you may wet your lashes right away. No need to wait 24 hours after your appointment! In fact I always wash and dry your lashes at the end of each appointment and washing your lashes daily is highly encouraged. (Make sure to use a lash cleanser and your lash brush to give them a good scrub; Dry on cool with a mini lash fan.)

Lash lift + tint: Do not wet your lashes for 24 hours after your lift + tint service. This is to ensure that you get the best results from your lift + tint appointment. Your lashes will be rinsed and dried at the end of the service.

Can I wear mascara?

Lash extension: Absolutely NOT!! Mascara will close up your volume fans leaving you with a clumpy mess. Not to mention you will get mascara buildup in between your extensions which is really difficult to remove and can cause damage to your natural lashes. You can however, wear an oil free mascara on the bottom lashes.

Lash lift + tint: Yes! Yes! Yes! BUT…. You must wait 24 hours to use regular mascara and 48 hours to use waterproof mascara. If you are a lash serum user you must wait 1 week after to resume your lash serum treatment.

Do you come to me for my lash appointments?

Lash extensions & Lash lift + tints: are only performed in my West Palm Beach studio dedicated to beauty services in order to assure the best possible quality. They can not be done in your home for several reasons.

How long can I expect to be at my appointment?

Lash extension: This appointment can vary depending on what type of set you choose and your natural lashes but can range from 2-4 hours for a full set; 1.5 – 2 hours for a fill depending how well you maintain your lashes.

Lash lift + tint: This appointment usually takes about 1 hour.

BRIDAL BEAUTY SERVICES

Do you come to me and do you offer trials?

Giselle provides on location makeup services (meaning she comes to you) so that you can relax and be at ease for your upcoming event. Trials are available and may be included in bridal packages. Trials are highly recommended to brides and are a great way to try and discuss if the look you are thinking about is a good fit for you on your special day.

Do you provide hair services?

Giselle offers hair styling upon request and will bring a professional hair stylist from her team if working on a party larger than 4-5 guests. Having to hire an additional artist/ assistant will also depend on the time the bride and her party may need to be ready by.

What kind of makeup do you use and is airbrushing available?

Giselle uses high quality professional makeup such as Charlotte Tilbury, Dior, Tom Ford, Danessa Myricks Beauty, Smashbox, Hourglass and other similar professional high performance brands. Airbrushing is available upon request and is done with Temptu, the highest quality in airbrush makeup. It is sweat and humidity proof with a barely there feel leaving the skin looking fresh and flawless. It is long wearing and highly recommended for events.

What is airbrush makeup?

Airbrush makeup is a liquid makeup that is applied with compressed air through an airbrush gun or handheld device depositing micro droplets of makeup onto the skin to create a flawless complexion. When the complexion is photographed skin looks fresh and flawless. Airbrush can be layered to achieve a full coverage effect or worn directly on bare skin for a soft natural finish. Giselle exclusively has used Temptu airbrush makeup for several years when airbrushing and is one of the top highly recommended airbrush companies in the bridal industry. HD camera ready, long wearing, sweat, and humidity proof.

Can you cover up my tattoo?

Tattoo cover is available upon request. Size, coloring, and placement will determine pricing for the coverup. Cover up is done with multiple layers of color correcting makeup and sealed between each layer.

How long will my service take and will you have time for everyone if I have a large party?

Giselle specializes in large bridal/event parties. Makeup services for the party/guests are usually around 30-45 mins – and 1 hour for the bride/host. Hair services are about 30 mins per appointment. When working with large parties Giselle will discuss with you about bringing on other artists from her team that she trusts and has worked with several times prior to assisting

Do you stay for touch ups?

Touch ups are usually done as a last and final look before Giselle or her artists leave. Touch ups for before or after pictures or ceremony would be an additional charge and discussed with Giselle prior.

Do you have recommendations for other vendors?

Yes, Giselle works with many vendors such as hair stylists, photographers, event planners, videographers, and facial specialists.

Do you charge any additional fees?

A non refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking in order to secure your date and time, that is later applied to your balance at the time of service. Giselle is based out of Palm Beach County and is available for travel nationally. Travel fees may apply for events over 50 miles outside of Wellington, FL. If applicable parking fees are covered by the client. Overnight hotel stays and flights will also be covered by clients if applicable. Any additional fees not listed will be discussed with you prior to booking.

How do I book and what forms of payment do you accept?

Simply click the book now button to view the calendar and pay the non refundable booking fee to reserve your appointment. This fee will be applied to your balance. Giselle accepts cash, Visa, Master Card, AMEX, Discover, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay or Zelle. Sorry checks are not accepted at this time. Your balance due must be paid in full on the day of the event before services begin.
